Writing as Britt Tisdale, Britt's short stories have been awarded by or are forthcoming in Bellingham Review, Ruminate, and Sonora Review. Her articles and essays have appeared in journals such as Leadership, Group, Rock & Sling, and Pleiades (forthcoming). She holds an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from Seattle Pacific University.
In Summer 2017, Britt was a fellow at Tin House Workshop in Portland, Ore. She has received a GoodLit novel writing grant from Wedgwood Circle, and a short story award from Abroad Writers Conference. She is currently revising her first novel, a semi-finalist for the Royal Palm Literary Award.
